Q: I have a Macbook, and it's a few months old, and started running a lot slower, so I'm confident to assume that it's because of a virus or soemthing. So any suggestions? (And I don't care if it costs money)
A: You probably do not have a virus! I have not heard of any and I'm running 2 Macs. You probably haven't run Repair Permissions since you got your computer, have you? That is something that needs to be done about once a month or whenever you download a system upgrade. Look in the Applications folder for the Utilities folder. Open it and find the Disk Utility. Open it and click on your hard drive icon that shows up, click Repair Permissions and sit back and wait. When it's finished just quit Disk Utility. If you have never done this, it will probably take a few minutes, so be patient.
