Q: bought softwear yast year and does noy work so i bought the same softwear again and can not get it to down load says have i have to get the old softwear of my c:dive folder and do not know how can you help
A: You should try uninstalling the software from Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs. If it doesn't show up there, then find the software's folder and look for an "uninstall" file or something similar, and use that. Finally if neither of these exist, then simply Search for the folder you want, then delete it. But doing it this way means you might miss the registry settings, and .dll's it installed originally - which are not found in the folder. You may want to call the software company and ask them for advice if you don't have an uninstaller program for the old version. Or search their site for a "knowledgebase" or support article describing the necessary steps to safely uninstall the old version. This is especially true for scientific and engineering software.
