Q: I am having trouble geting my HP Photosmart C3150 scanner to work. I asked a question a while ago on how to fix it and I took the advice that I got. [Restart PC, Unhook Scanner, Wait five minutes, and turn back on] and I tried to scan when the scan bar was in its first position and it failed, once the bar moved over I tried again and yet again it failed. "I tried and then once all the noise was finished I tried again when the scanner bar thing was at the very first place and it didn't work, then once the bar moved over a few inches I tried again and it didn't work. Should I try again and not attempt to scan when the bar is at the first position? D:" Please help! D:
A: For your scanner, first you need to make sure its listed under scanners and cameras. After that you should be able to go into the features and test the scanner to make sure it works correct. If it doesn't work correct that means you need to fix the driver that is installed for it. After that check again to make sure its in scanners and cameras. If you can test it and it works fine then its not the computer and scanner problem. If you are trying to scan and its not working then that means its a bad scanner.
