Q: anybody know anything about this? I thought it would be fun to listen to police calls and whatnot. I have the booklet, reference guide to frequencys and a sheet with frequency #'s for Radio Shack. The people at the yard sale said they thought it needed to be "programed" but not sure. My first one. Can anyone give me some info. We are playing with it right now. Thanks!
A: This category is for computers. I know a little about police scanners anyway. What I'd do is talk to the local fire department. They can tell you what frequencies are used in your area and might be able to program it for you.
