Scanner still not set up, WHY?

Q: I just akes this question on YA- I have a hp psc2110 all-in-one printer-scanner-copier, the printer and the copier work but when i try to scan (i'm trying to scan my passport picture onto the computer) it states- no scan options. you need to install or run hp software for feature, press enter to continue, but when i press enter nothing happens. how can i install it onto my computer. I know most computers need a disc or USB but i have neither. Is there any other way because i need to get this done today. (oh and the computer i have is a Gatway EV700) i went on to the website provided by people but i'm still having problems getting my scanner to work. i clicked on start to open the hp Directors icon on the windows desktop but it's not there what's there is HP image zone express and that giving me nothing, is there anything else that can help? please

You need to look on the HP site for your scanner to do this. The disk will cost you about $10, including shipping. You most likely will have to uninstall the current driver and software to use the CD as HP doesn't usually just allow a clean update without going back through the entire installation procedure again. Make sure you CONSULT the installation documentation first, because you usually have to install the software first and then plug the hardware in in a specific set of steps. If you do anything other than what the instructions say to do, nothing will work right.
