Q: I need to uninstall a UMAX 3400 scanner from an Acer computer. Everytime Vista Shuttle is pulled up it wants to use the UMAX...however the new scanner is already hooked up it is an Epson cx7400 and the vista shuttle will not pull up the new scanner...HELP!! Thanks =)
A: hmmmm... you can set a default printer but dunno if there is such a thing as set default scanner. if so, make epson your default scanner. otherwise, login as administrator and if software for scanner has been installed, click start, control panel, add/remove programs and remove software for scanner. click start, printers and faxes, find UMAX 3400 scanner, right click and delete.
