Q: I used to go to my computer and from there I could access the scanner, but cant seem to do that on this computer. I want to print a copy of old photos, please help!
A: IF you have a scanner that you have driver for , you can use the vista s/w to scan : A. Click on the WINDOWS/START button B.Search for the keyword WIAACMGR 1. Double click on WIAACMGR SHORTCUT on the desktop. 2. Select your scan option under the Scanner and Camera Wizard, then click on SCAN 3. Once the scan process is completed, you will be prompted to TAG the scanned image. Tagging the picture will help you search for the files in the future. This is optional and can be skipped. 4. Press IMPORT. The scanned file will open in the Windows Photo Gallery. To access the Windows Photo Gallery at a later time, click WINDOWS/START -> (ALL) PROGRAMS -> WINDOWS PHOTO GALLERY
