Q: i just got a few documents scanned. but jus forgot the fact tht after scanning they wud open wid a picture viewer n not wid a text editor. i'd got them scanned so tht i can copy a few parts frm the text n i donn hv to type a lot. but now hw to open the scanned document which is opening as a image in a text editor????? further more...i'm not able to attach these scanned objects to send them as a mail to a recipient frm my yahoo id itself... please people help me out wid these problems which r bugging me a lot...!!!
A: If you are using MS Office, Check on the Start Menu if you have the Microsoft Office Document Scanning tool under the Microsoft Office menu. Scan using this one and then afterwards you may be able to select the words and copy it on your word app. This tool is installed together with MS Office. In case it's not installed, you can use your ms office installer to add it.
