Q: Possibly a longshot asking this, but I'm gettin desperate! I'm trying to scan an illustration (with ribbons and other elements on it) but my Epson scanner (3590 photo scanner) keeps automatically selecting "Colour Photo" as the document type. So it scans it and chops off all the ribbons which extend beyond the boundary of the image. I just want a scan of the whole thing. The whole area, with nothing chopped off. I keep repositioning it but the scanner continues to automatically treat it as a photo. Anything I can do? It's for a project I have to submit today, so kinda urgent. Thanks!
A: hi start up scanner on the main window pick from the drop list pick professional mode then do a preview scann in the preview window use the sizeing handels to crop the area you want ot scann click scann
