HP deskjet f335 won't scan?

Q: I was given the all-in-one deskjet two years ago and for about a year, it won't scan. It'll copy and print, but won't scan. Every time I try to scan, windows installer shows up and says "Please insert 'instantsharedevices' disk and continue. We moved a year ago and my brother was responsible for packing the CD's. He lost my installation cds so I can't insert the disk. I've tried everything I could think of. I downloaded and installed the driver and it says 'You already have the latest version of this. Windows will detect the hardware when you plug it in." I plugged it in and turned it on, and it won't let me scan. I checked the hardware that's on my computer- it says deskjet f300 is installed, but my hardware is actually deskjet f335. I can't download any drivers because it says that It's already installed. It's driving me crazy. Does anyone have any advice?

A: Insure you have the current driver available for your All-in-One System. Driver, Firmware, etc...
