Two virus scanners... only ONE finding TROJANS!?

Q: I have two virus scanners... Symantec and Kaspersky. Out of nowhere, the Symantec virus scanner detected hundreds of trojans... (like APQ2E0.tmp, APQ2E2.tmp, etc, etc) It says it deleted them but couldn't quarantine it. The Kaspersky scan is also going, but not picking up on any of this. What's up with that? I paid better money for this one! Anyhow, please explain to me in terms anyone could understand. I AM NO computer expert by any stretch. Just confused and a little panicked about whats happening all the sudden. Is there anything else I can do?

A: In most of the government, McAfee Virus Protection is used. While anything you feel good is usable you should never run two Virus Detection programs on a computer. The problem you can run into and what may have been happening is Symantec was identifying Kaspersky as a virus. The Virus Detection Programs identify each other as a Virus. Could say something about the Quality of the Programs. I Hope this Helps!
