Q: I have just upgraded to vista home premium from home basic ,all the software is there but the scanner just doesn't work now,I'd be grateful for any help please
A: Sadly if your scanner is a few years old it is likely not supported by Vista now or in the future. I have a wonderful scanner by Asus that they won't write a vista driver for. However, there is a wonderful program called VueScan that will let your scanner work with vista and it might actually give you more features than you had with the factory driver!
