Q: I just got the new laptop and i think the fingerprint thing is SO awesome but i just can't figure out how to set it up! My dad has the same thing and I'm trying to convince him to set it up so i would like to know how to if you could tell me! THANKS!!!
A: The following link provides guidance to setup the HP/Compaq Fingerprint Scanner However, Two Items - Don't do it without your father being involved as the Potential of Major Problems exist. i.e. the Laptop could be messed up and required to be re imaged loosing all data currently on it. I have known of problems to arise after configuring the Fingerprint Reader that required re-imaging the Computer and loosing all current data.
