Q: I have a brother 4 in 1 printer, scanner etc. I am having problems scanning a picture. I press the scan button then press start. On the lcd screen it says connecting to pc. Then nothing happens. Can anyone help? Thanks
A: Hey, I'm having the same problem as you (unresolved so far) but I think it's only All-in-Ones which have this issue. Try going to Device Manager (right click 'My computer' and go to 'manage') and see if anything pops up next to the name of the printer/scanner. If you get the message: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19).
