Q: ...but pc doesnt recognise the scanner, where have I gone wrong?
A: Log on as an administrator. Uninstall all printer/scanner drivers and software. Unplug printer from PC. Restart. Log on as an administrator. Reinstall all printer/scanner drivers/software. Plug printer into PC when prompted. Restart.
