Q: I have a printer/scanner/copier (Hp PSC 1610 ALL-in-one) and for some reason the scanner/copier part has not recently been working When i scna something it comes out in a big black blob like this: http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/5298/notgonnaworkscannerjd6.jpg and when it's scanning it makes odd noises How can i fix this/What's goin wrong? Thanks
A: Scanners, even for a Certified Technician, are something nothing can be done to repair other than clean the glass, so any repair more than that is not feasible. The scan example does appear you may have a problem with the scanning lamp and something that would require return to HP. End result, this is likely something not Cost Effective to repair and you may want to consider buying a New one - Unless it can be repaired under Warranty! I Hope this Helps!
