Q: MY scanner disk was not included, I run windows me, and cant find a free driver anywhere, any help here
A: http://driverscollection.com/?H=ScanJet%204300c&By=HP HP has stopped supporting this scanner on their site but I found it on this site. Just scroll down past the update and you should find the driver.
