Q: how do i edit the text of a document that i scan? where do i scan it to to be able to do this? i tried to scan and then send it to wordpad-came up garbled text. tried to send to works-came up as garbled text how do i copy a document then add text (fill in the blanks) using my pc and copy/scanner? i have OCR walk me throught the steps i need to follow to utilize this program
A: Try using the Microsoft Tagged Image Format File (extensions either .tiff or Mtiff). if you scan to adobe .pdf it won't work. or try saving as a .jpg and you can use Microsoft Powerpoint, but if you don't have any of these then I am pretty sure paint can do it. Or use adobe photoshop. but the biggest thing is the format in which you save the file use .jpg
