Q: it's a pretty old scanner but our previous laptop broke so we sent it back and it was not repairable so they sent us a new one which had windows vista.. i installed the scanner's driver and it won't read the scanner i would assume but could it be because of the vista? anyone have issues like this too??? help it's a compaq s200 if anyone has one too... :( ahhhhh i'm sooo mad! i didn't want vista in the first place but that's all they could give us! i miss the old windows... simple and compatible!!! :( i'm gonna go cry now
A: Scanners and multi function printers are notorious for NOT working with Vista. I've got a 3 year old hp scanner...doesnt work with Vista..which is why i'm staying on xp.
