Q: Hello, I have this documents, (about 100 pages) and I need to get the documents to word format. I am right now typing with my hands but thought there would be more fastest way for it... I need to be able to edit the file later on so scanning wouldn't work, I guess... or is there any way that I can scan all pages then edit some words later on??? Thanks for your time,
A: Look at the software that came with your scanner. There is normally an OCR program. This allows you to can in a document, then translates it to text. It needs you to read through the document and make some corrections to start with, but if the print is clear and not too small, it learns quickly.
