Q: I need to get a job done quite quickly and wondered how much error margin I should allow.... Also I think I can only scan using PDF file format. Does this cause further problems?
A: It is not rue that you have to scan using PDF file format. You are better of with typed document, and error margin is extremely minimal. You may take a few minutes to train the OCR with the worst one or two pages of the document before actual scanning. You will be far better off than any other option. I use Omnipage 11 pro, you may try it as well.
