Q: My boyfriend is an artist who is looking to start digitizing his work. I am looking to suprise my boyfriend with a scanner to help him start his small business. I have no idea what qualities to look for in scanners. I would ask him, but I don't want to give away the surprise. Are there any other artists out there who scan their own work and can point me in the right direction? I appreciate any insight you guys can give me!
A: Why not go for an all-in-one scanner/printer/fax machine which allows you to copy and scan , and print colour photos or artwork and other types of documents. One of Which magazines' best buys for this month is the HP Photosmart C5180 which scored highly for quality printing and scanning. I don't know what price it is but you can find out from many sites on the internet.
