Scanner problems?

Q: We just got a new mac, and have hooked up our scanner/printer. The printer works fine, but I can't get the scanner to work. Whenever I try to scan something, the screen on the scanner says: "No Scan Options. Refer to device documentation to troubleshoot." Any ideas on how to get it working? oh yeah, its a HP Photosmart 2575 All-in-one. THANKS!

A: Its my pleasure to assist you. >> Disconnect the USB cable from the computer > insert the CD of All-in-One in the computer > click on uninstall to uninstall the software. > After uninstalling the software restart the computer to make to uninstallation effective. > Then download the software of All-in-One from the HP website. > Save the file to the desktop. > After successfully saving the file to the desktop double click on it to install it.
