Q: I HAVE A CANON MF5700 PRINT/SCANNER AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO SCAN SOMETHING IT SAYS CHANGE PAPERSIZE TRAY LTR &SUPPLY REC PAPER TRAY LTR WAT DO I DO PLZ HELP NOW
A: Are you scanning directly from the machine? If you are, you need to make sure that the settings of your paper tray are pushed into the correct size of the paper... for instance, if you have 81/2x11" paper in the tray, make sure the little part that you move to change the size to accommodate larger paper is indeed "nitched" into the little LTR notch. If it's not, the machine thinks there is a different size paper in the tray than what it is scanning. If you have more than one tray, check it on all of the trays... and make sure you have the right size on them as well.. Also, just to eliminate another reason, whatever size you need, make you you're telling the machine WHICH paper tray you want the paper drawn from. If you need more clarification, email me....
