A: It depends if you scanned it as a image (photo) or a pdf format. If you scanned it as image, you can use any image editing program like Photoshop or GIMP. As a .pdf, make sure that the characters are readable by the system (OCR-compliant or if you open the pdf document, you can select the text by the text selection tool). If it is, then you can use the FoxIT PDF editor. If not, then it would be harder if not impossible.
