A: If you scan a MS Word Doc as an image, you can't edit the text on your computer because you took a photograph (think PhotoCopy) of it, probably as a ".jpg". OCR, as stated above, is what you need to learn HOW to do. OCR attempts to read the text and create a M$-Word document file. You will have to proof read it and correct any "bad guesses" (typos) to ensure it is accurate. The full instructions are in your Scanner, or All-In-One printer, User manual.
