A: IF you installed the software and the drivers that came with your scanner, you should be able to do this quite easily. If you provide the scanner model (such as HP Scanjet xxxx or HP officejet xxxx,) I'll be able to tell you what software/OCR that's installed and how to initialize it, do the scan and save it. MaggieB
