Q: I have been looking around for a scanner for my computer. I really don't want an all-in-one printer/scanner/copier. I'd rather just have a scanner. Well, after reading some reviews and actually liking the product I want to order a Canon CanoScan LiDE90 Color Image Scanner. I just want to know, with any people out there who have had the experience, I really need to know if there are certain things like software that I should download from the Canon website first before putting this on Vista home premium. I got a Hp all in one printer/scanner/copier last week and things didn't go too well. The computer did NOT recognize the usb hub. So I took it back and am looking for a computer online since they don't have much of a selection at Best Buy. And I HAVE to get it at Best Buy since they gave me back store credit. Advice please from anyone on working with scanner setups with Vista. Thank-you.
A: Hi i am running Vista and have had nothing but trouble with my Lexmark X1185,i had a terrible time finding the drivers. Even with the right drivers installed i have repeated problems every week because the printer will decide just not to print so i have to keep reinstalling these drivers again on a weekly bases.Vista's service pack 1 should be released within the next two weeks and i'm hopeing it will solve alot of our problems. Good evening
