Q: I have HP Scanjet G4010 but when I scan a document by pressing the PDF button it saves the files with photograph extensions that Adobe cannot read. I would also like to save scanned documents to Word and can find no way to do that.
A: Most of the Scanner software don't support 'Scan to' options in latest Adobe Acrobat versions. However, you can scan from the PDF file itself. And all the scanners support 'Scan to' and 'Scan from Word" If you are unable to scan. Open solution center/director on the deskp > Click on settings > Scan settings and preferences > Scan to setup > Click on scan to destinaton and add the application there.
