Q: Our computer recently crashed (almost, we lost everything, recovery files won't work, but the computer can still function). My mom got the printer to work, but we have a 3 in 1 printer-scanner-copier. I need to upload a picture for school and it tells me "The computer cannot detect to scanner or camera. Please make sure there is an established connection". Does that mean that there is a different cord for the scanner than the printer? I tried looking for the cord and it looked plugged in. How do I get my scanner to work?
A: Try installing the scanner drivers with the CD that came with the All-in-one. Most computers will recognize an AIO as a printer without software, but the scan software usually needs to be installed for the rest to work.
