Q: All the other features work, copy, print, fax. When I press the scan button, I get NO SCAN OPTIONS SCAN OPTIONS ARE NOT SET. INSTALL OR RUN DEVICE SOFTWARE ON COMPUTER I've tried to run the printer software but I stops running, I can't download drivers or software from HP website, the download stalls too, both at the point of removing unnecessary components. Anybody out there have a suggestion as to what I can try to get the scanner on the printer to work. (It has worked previously, don't use it much, but would like to be able to when necessary)
A: When your page is displayed for your scan options from HP, look at the top and see if you have several icons for machines to pick from. If you have installed the driver several times, you'll have several different machines to select from. Try selecting the one on the right. I have a HP psc and that's the problem I deal with, and it works for me! Good Luck!
