Q: I have an HP Pavilion tx1110us w/ Vista. I am trying to uninstall the program for my parents Epson scanner. I went to both the control panel and the start menu, but nothing is working. I keep getting this message: "An installation support file could not be installed. The system cannot find the file specified." What can I do? PLEASE HELP!! The scanner is no longer connected. It hasn't been for a while. It's at my parents' house.
A: Unplug the power cord from the scanner and disconnect the usb from the computer and try again. Edit: Will have to do this thru the registry then. Email me if you need help.
