Scanner installation trouble?

Q: I'm putting a Mustek Bearpaw 1200 on Windows XP. I have installed the drivers, and it looks like it should work. But it won't. Mustek says to use PhotoExpress SE 3.0, or a Twain compliant program. I have 2 programs installed, and they both are able to see the scanner. When I try to scan it says "selected image application can not be found, image will be saved as 00002.bmp". The scanner goes through its motions, but neither program can find it. After I try to find it, with 1 of the programs, The scanner won't scan again until I re-boot. Any ideas?

A: Go to control panel on ur computer, look for scanners icon push it Then go to scanners Properties make sure everything is set right there. read installation booklet make sure everything is installed correctly. Coordinate a file for it to put Ur scans in. If that don.t work call the scanners maker should be a number on ur booklet. GOOD LUCK
