Q: My friend got a new Macbook (that she LOVES), but we can not figure out how to scan with an HP multifunction scanner. It prints with no problem, as the drivers are included in OS X, but what application should we use for scanning? Thanks!
A: Usually it would come w/ scanning software. But I personally use Photoshop or Acrobat (NOT reader) and scan directly into either one of those depending on what i'm doing w/ the scan. I'd hit the HP site though and search for compatible scanning software for both your version of OSX, and your scanner model.
