Q: my computer cant seem to recognized my scanner AT ALL.im using a visioneer onetouch 5800 USB
A: number one most items most be added to computer in a certain order such as scanner, printers etc if you can see the scanner in add/remove program then un install now you can plug in power to scanner, connect USB cord to computer but not to scanner yet put disc in computer and follow instructions and only connect USB to scanner when program tells you too. if this is not the first time of connecting, then possible that you need to update driver, so go to: www.driverguide.com and join for free, up to 10 downloads per day for free
