Q: I have an HP 1310 printer/scanner/copier and it isnt working properly. When documents are sent to the printer, it is fine, however when I try to use it to scan an image, the HP Director scanning software does not open from the programs list. It also doesnt work to try to use the auto run of HP Director when you push the Scan button on the printer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software, but it still doesnt work. The printer is only about two years old. System info: Dell DIMENSION DIM 4550 Intel (R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz 2.52GHz, 640 MB of RAM Microsoft XP Home edition Version 2002 Sorry it's...HP psc 1310 series This printer doesn't use Solution Center, it uses HP director instead. I had an HP with Solution Center and this one is different.
A: Have you tried going to control panel scanners and cameras scanners and then a scanner wizard comes up. I have the same scanner/printer and that's how I do it. If I press scan on the printer nothing happens. good luck!
