Q: I went to use my "new" scanner,,,,,,wont scan,,says disconected. but I checked the plugs and ports and cables,,,,everything is connected,,,,???
A: Depending on your O/S.. Turn the computer off completely. Plug in the scanner, power it up, and then turn on the puter. Your puter should then grab the scanner and take you thru the setups to load the software. You might have to reboot once more after your finished. Good Luck
