Q: can anybody tell me what A3 printers and scanners are in market today
A: I recommend Espon for both if you really need the size for scanning they have a scanner (Epson Expression 10000XL- Graphic Arts). If A3 for scanning is not critical look at their A4 scanners as the quality is so good enough you can use them as neg scanners. For printing of course size makes a lot of sense, and you want the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 with the new K3 ultrachrome system. I am very happy about it -- for the scanner I opted for the A4 Epson Perfection V750-M PRO since I do not need A3. The scanner and the printer are simply fabulous. Canon also has a line A3 printer that is good (PIXMA 9000 and 9500) -- but a photographer's choice between the two remains EPSON.
