Q: My Windows XP computer is not detecting the above printer. I have also lost my installation CD and have no clue as to how to install my printer and make it work. Are there any installation softwares available?
A: You can go to the Canon website and download the driver without any problem. Just type www.canon.com and from there pick download, tell them it is jet printer and the model no. is iP 1000, download, install and save the driver for future use.
