Q: I have an epson stylus 1400 that needs more black ink. I am not in the mood to refill and am trying to figure out if it is worth paying for actual epson cartridges.
A: I have found generic cartridges to be just as good as the originals. One caveat though -- if you are going to be printing pictures, unfortunately I have to say that OEMs are the best option. If you are looking for generic cartridges for your Epson I'd recommend Castle Ink: http://www.castleink.com/_Epson.html
