Q: Alright, I just got a new HP printer with the driver and new ink and everything. The test papers that print when it's first installed were normal and I've printed many documents (its only 2 weeks old, 'many' is a relative term here) that all came out fine. I just tried to print pictures that are inserted into a Word document (I say that in case this is an issue with Vista or the new Word) and they only come out with the black and blue ink printed. I tried the photo printing setting, default settings, and 'best' quality setting. same for all, no color besides blue. I also tested a sheet with text in multiple colors. once again, black and blue only. I just printed a page of this website as a test... it's also only in black and blue, though previous prints from websites worked fine. I had the same problem (that then got progressively worse) with my printer at home. I assumed it was out of ink, but now I'm re-thinking that. I hope the details help... any ideas?
A: Try cleaning the ink heads, then reinstall the printer, or call up HP youre still under waranty OR if you got it from costco or target or someplace like that you can usually find a number for free tech support
