Which printer setting uses less ink--black only or grayscale?

Q: I have a HP F2110 that I use a lot and I need to cut down on my ink usage.

A: HP's "Black only" setting (combined with the Fast Draft setting) will use the least ink possible. The "Greyscale" option will combine the 3 different colors to create photos with nice smooth gradients in graphics (thereby using a lot more ink)
