Q: I'm having problems figuring out how to download a Kodak EasyShare 5500 printer into a Mac Pro Apple laptop. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, everytime I try to install the program into the laptop, it says that I need the OS X Version 10.4.8. I'm going to be honest and say that I do not know what version my laptop has. So I go the Apple homepage and try to download that version into my laptop, and it finished downloading, but I'm still receiving the window that says you need OS X Version 10.4.8. HELP!!
A: On your Apple lap top, click on the Apple icon in the menu bar at the upper left. Then select the first choice ("About the Mac") My guess is you need to download a new driver. Not from Apple but From Kodak. Try this link (if it doesn't work just Google Kodak printer software) http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn033541.jhtml?operatingSystem=mac_os_x_10_5_x&downloadLanguage=en
