Q: We have 1 desktop and 2 laptops in our home. We have a wireless linksys router. How can we connect the laptops to the printer without hooking up the wire? The printer is a HP C3140 all-in-one. Is there anyway it can be set up like a network printer? Thanks -hoot-
A: Attach the printer to the PC, then share it to all users. As long as the 2 laptops are connected through the same router as the PC, and on the same workgroup, then just add the printer to both laptops in the control panel. Have it show you network printers and just choose the one connected to the PC.
