Q: help. Just got a new landline installed. Not technical minded at all. Please, if someone could explain simply- I would greatly appreciate it.
A: I am not sure what you are asking, but if you just got a new landline all you need to do is hook up the phone cord into the office jet and then another phone line from the officejet to your phone. In your fax menu, you should be able to go to setup and enter the information in (ie. phone number, number of rings,fax log). It has been awhile since I worked with a officejet, but hopefully this information helps=)
