Q: I have a dell all in one printer 922. I can print pictures but cannot print text. Any ideas what could be wrong?
A: It sounds like you are either out of black ink or you have a clogged black printhead. Perform a nozzle check/test page, then do 3-4 printhead cleanings. Run another nozzle check/test page and compare it to the first one. If you see improvement, keep cleaning your printheads until the black printhead is unclogged. If you do not see any improvement, you may need to replace the black ink cartridge. (I am assuming that your printer uses a tri-color and black ink cartridge) Replacing the ink cartridge will give you a new printhead (attached to the ink cartridge).
