Q: Every time I install the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C1110B, it keeps installing in Taiwanese and NOT English. I accidentally installed the wrong language first and now when I choose English it won't install it. After using the CD countless times for English, nothing seems to change. I've downloaded the new version in English, it still installs in Taiwanese. How do I completely uninstall the old printer driver and install the new one? Or fix this problem completely? I'm using Windows XP. When I delete the printer from "Printers and Faxes", and connect the printer again, the old driver that was previously installed keeps getting installed and Fuji Xerox doesn't really have an uninstall button anywhere cause it's just a driver. (ie. not a utility) I've just tried going to server properties and deleted the printer but now that I've re-installed the English driver again, it's partially in English. The headings are still in Taiwanese. The other 2 methods mentioned did relatively the same thing and Taiwanese is still evident.
A: First check the following: 1) Control Panel > Regional & Language Options - Standard & formats is "English" 2) Same place but "Advanced" tag also in English for the Non-unicode programs... 3) Remove the driver from Printers & Faxes Properties > Server Properties, Select the driver tag. Highlight the driver and press remove. If it still fails go to the follwoing URL - http://www.fujixeroxprinters.com.au/en/Support/faq.aspx Contact Suport directly as it will be a free support if it is still under warranty. Good luck.
