Q: Someone said I can't use FORMAT to format a background picture but where else could I change it to "wash out?"
A: You actually use a Watermark for printing. "Backgrounds" are for web pages. Do this: 1.Click on the Format->Background->Printed Watermark menu item. If Printed Watermark is disabled (grayed out), the document is probably in Web page view. You can't use watermarks on Web pages. 2.In the dialog box, select the kind of watermark you want and set it up. 3.Check the Washout check box (only possible with picture watermarks). 4. Click OK. 5.Click the Tools->Options menu item. 6.Click the Print Tab. 7.Under Include with Document, check the checkbox for Drawing Objects. 8.Click OK. That should do it.
