Q: It installs successfully, but when I try to use it, I get a message stating that whatever programs were open (like wherever i'm trying to print from) has closed unexpectedly. The support team can't figure it out. We've tried everything. Any suggestions?
A: Have you made sure that you have added the latest patches to Mac OS X? When you've done that, download and install the drivers from the manufacturers website. Run Apple software update (most mainstream printer manufacturers release updates through this). Then connect your printer and check to make sure it works. Mac's aren't as plug and play as Apple would have you believe - I had trouble with my new Mini and HP C5200 series until I followed the routine above... Hope this helps...
