Q: it said the it was out of ink so i changed them all correctly and everything and it says the inks are full but when i print, nothing comes out on the paper.....does anyone know why? is there some things i can try to get it working? its an epson stylus photo R310
A: How long was it out of ink (or sitting unused)? Probable answer is dried up ink in the mechanism... Solution(s): 1) Try to run the "clean" utility several times to try to unclog the heads and lines... (You need to "rest" after each 3 or so cycles)... 2) Get some "cleaner ink" to run thru & dissolve the caked up ink All depends on how long it has been like that... The longer it has sit like that, the harder it will be to clean out! See reference below for more cleaning tips... IN GENERAL: Ink jet printers should be used at least once a week to prevent ink from drying out! Never let them sit idle for long periods of time!!
